“The One on the Right”, A Bit of Prespective

I found this song today. It was recorded by Johnny Cash in the late 1960’s, (Note the last line of the song, referring to the conflict of the era). I think the song sums up everything which we are seeing in the current primary race for the republican nomination. The 3rd chorus I think particularly immortalizes the current war that is going on amongst our now 4 remaining candidates.

Well, the one on the right was on the bottom
And the one in the middle was on the top
And the one on the left got a broken arm
And the guy on his rear, said, “Oh dear”

The right and middle particularly suit Gingrich and Romney, while the I believe the left and rear are Santorum and Paul. Who exactly is who I’ll leave to the reader to decide.

Overall, I hope this piece of levity has served to shed a new light on our heated Republican primary race.
