Georgia CNN Debate Cancelled

CNN just confirmed that the Georgia Republican Presidential Debate is cancelled after both Mitt Romney and Ron Paul announced that they will not be attending this before Super Tuesday debate. The debate was scheduled to take place on March 1st. Will this affect candidates in the states voting on Super Tuesday?

Debates are a good way for Republican Presidential candidates to reach a large amount of voters. No matter how hard candidates try to visit each Super Tuesday state, I feel that it is more beneficial for candidates to attend a debate then a campaign rally. Yet, the Romney campaign believes otherwise offering a statement that they feel another debate will not help improve their chances on Super Tuesday. Instead of the debate, the Romney campaign will be traveling and campaigning in Ohio and the other Super Tuesday states.

What do you think? Do you think another debate will be beneficial for all candidates at this stage of the election?

I think this is going to hurt Newt alot. He thrives off of debates and make him look like the strongest canidate. This was pretty evident earlier on when there were tons of debates.
